Zero to Hero Hustle

The goal of our Zero to Hero workshop event is to give people with little or no experience, a fun opportunity to learn the basics of the New York style of Hustle in a single day!
- Do I need experience? No!
- Do I need a partner? No!
- Will I have fun? YES!
- Can I actually learn New York Hustle in such a short time? YES! It's amazing what you can pick up in these intensive sessions!
- I've done a little bit of New York Hustle before, can I come? YES! Although this event is for complete beginners, it's also great if you feel like your dancing is "swiss cheese" - full of holes! And if you've done four-count Hustle, this is a perfect opportunity to learn the New York style!
Where do I go after Zero to Hero?
Once you've done Zero to Hero, you'll know more Hustle than most of the local West Coast Swing and Salsa dancers. Next, we recommend delving into Hustle's companion dance, West Coast Swing, taking the level I class if you haven't already. In our WCS I you'll learn the basics of West Coast Swing.
Friday Night: Hustle and West Coast Swing Party!
After the Friday night crash course, we'll have a Hustle and WCS party!
Saturday Night Swing: Double Trouble!
In honour of our Hustle-themed Zero to Hero workshop, we'll be having a special Saturday Night Swing with TWO rooms going! We'll have one room dedicated to vintage swing music for the Lindy Hop lovers, and another room with great blues and contemporary music for Hustle and West Coast Swing lovers!
